Hello @Dung_H_Nguyen,
Can you please explain further what is it your are experiencing when you copy an image and paste it into a table cell? I’ve just tested it into a filled cell, an empty cell, old table and new table and it worked fine.
Please do note that pasting images in cells is not really supported by DeveloperHub (however it is possible).
Hi @zed ,
For example, in this screenshot, I want to put an image into the cell. My pointer is in the cell, then ctrl + V, the image is uploaded but eventually it is placed beneath the table.
It should have been placed in the cell.
Last month, I can put images into a table cell, but now I can’t.
Thanks.
Ah I figured out how to replicate this. We’ll try to formalize inline images in table - please hold on for a message from me.
I see that you have just introduced the inline image. Thank you for making it quickly.
However, I feel this feature is not as convenient as what it was before.
I have to resize the image after pasting, and then I need to adjust colume width, then Save Draft and refresh the page to see the changes.
Happy to help @Dung_H_Nguyen.
Can you clarify what was your experience before vs how it is different now please?
Before:
After pasting an image into a table cell, the image was resized automatically and fit to the cell (column) width. Table layout was not affected.
Now:
After pasting image, I have to resize it, and then I need to adjust column width since it is changed; then I have to Save Draft and refresh the page to see if image looks good after resized and column + table looks good or not.
I see.
What was the behaviour if the image actual size is less than the width of the column? Did it get stretched out and pixelated? Or have you not tried this?
Actually, no worries!
We added another mode to the inline images to fit, they’ll take 100% of the width they can fit in, or their maximum actual width. This should be synonymous with the previous experience.
By default when pasting into tables, “fit width” mode would be applied. Changing the mode is possible by clicking on the inline image.
It’ll be available soon!
