I was wondering whether it would be possible to include a feature whereby we could hide portions of text from a page. That way, we could still publish the page but have a section of the text not appear outside the editor.
This would be useful, for example, if we had a feature included as part of the document that was not ready to publish but other text within the same document was ready for publishing. It could function similar to comments in a markdown document, for instance.
I do understand that this is basic feature in HTML/markdown, however it isn’t a feature of word processors and editors generally. For example, there isn’t such a feature in Microsoft Word/Google Docs. The way it’s handled usually is to copy this piece of text and keep it somewhere else if you needed to publish only part of the page.
With DeveloperHub, you can do the following:
Duplicate the page.
Revert the original page/Modify the content to match what needs to be published, and publish it.
Copy the unpublished changes from the duplicated page into the original page and continue working on it in draft.
However, this feature might be be implemented later as part of a feature to enable conditional text.
Let me know if you have any further questions! I hope this helps.
